A Commitment to the Customer

All plants are fully guaranteed to arrive alive and healthy. As a gardener myself, I feel this is essential to any business which sells live plant material. It is important that people receive what they purchase, and that it is never less than what they expect. This goes for both the product and the service.

If you have any questions about the plants you have ordered, I will do my best to answer them personally. Plants are a serious interest of mine, so I am constantly researching and writing about all the species I grow and sell. For the benefit of the customer, I attempt to provide comprehensive, in depth information about every species I sell. This website is meant to be an accessible resource to anyone.


Shipping Live Plants

As a grower and gardener I have had numerous dealings with mail order nurseries, as well as through eBay. It has been quite the education in what works (and especially what doesn't) when shipping live plants. All our plants are packaged carefully and securely to avoid common mail-order mishaps.

One of the main reasons we sell small seedling trees is because we can ship them securely in their pots. This allows me to sell some root-sensitive species that one may not normally find, and also allows me to fully guarantee everything I sell.

Since we are located in the cold climate of Groton, MA, we are able to ship to many different tropical and sub-tropical zones where state-to-state agricultural restrictions might not have allowed. The only state we cannot ship to is Hawaii. It is not my intention to profit from overcharging for shipping/handling. All shipping occurs on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. We do not ship late in the week because the plants may sit in their boxes unnecessarily on weekends.


Returns / Damaged Plants

In the event that damage occurs during shipping, please contact me immediately and I will gladly assist you in correcting the situation. You do not need to return the damaged plants.

We do not generally accept returns due to the nature of this business, live plant material. Freely accepting returns would be very stressful on the plants. However, this is why I have provided information and pictures of the species I sell so the customer knows exactly what they are buying. If you feel strongly that you have not received what you ordered, please contact me and I will quickly help to resolve the problem.
