All live plants are fully guaranteed to arrive healthy and ready to begin putting new growth. As gardeners, we feel this is essential to any business which sells live plant material. It is important that people receive what they purchase, and that it is never less than what they expect. This goes for both the product and the service.

If you have any questions about the plants you have ordered, we do our best to answer them personally. We are constantly researching and writing about every species we grow. For the benefit of the customer we attempt to provide comprehensive, in depth information about every species we sell. This website is meant to be an accessible resource to anyone interested in growing these species.

Shipping Live Plants

We have had numerous dealings with mail order nurseries, as well as sellers through eBay. It has been quite the education in what works, but especially what doesn't, when shipping live plants. All our plants are packaged carefully and securely to avoid common mail-order mishaps.

We ship to the continental United States only. Sorry, due to strict agricultural standards, we cannot ship to Hawaii.

It is not my intention to profit from overcharging for shipping/handling; we calculate all shipping charges accurately and fairly. All shipping occurs on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings and we use 2-3 day Priority Mail via the US Post Office. We do not ship late in the week because the plants may sit in their boxes unnecessarily on weekends, which is very stressful for them.

Returns / Damaged Plants

In the unlikely event that significant damage occurs during shipping, please contact us immediately and we will gladly assist you in correcting the situation. We fully guarantee all products and plants to arrive in excellent condition.

We do not generally accept returns due to the nature of this business, live plant material. Freely accepting returns would be very stressful on the plants. We provide accurate information and pictures of all species we sell, so the customer knows exactly what they are buying. If you feel strongly that you have not received what you ordered, please contact us and we will quickly help to resolve any problems.
