Tropical Fruit Trees
Currently, our largest selection is our tropical fruit trees, which occupies most of our greenhouse space. Some
species are common, but many trees we sell are uncommon. It is our goal to make uncommon trees more available.
Fruits provide nutrition, and have been grown by humans likely as far back as we have existed on the
earth. Many fruits have a particularly rich cultural history, such as Coffee or Cacao. Some fruits are only recently
being realized for their particular health benefits, such as Goji Berry and Assai.

Medicinal Plants
We are currently expanding into medicinal plants. The line between food and medicine is often vague, if one
considers it much at all. Medicinal plants are of interest because they work with the human body to unlock
deeper biological capacities. Some plants, however, are used more for their medicinal purposes, and represent
an intriguing synergy of plants and animals being often beneficial to both. Mankind's innate kinship with nature
is perhaps most obvious by observing the ancient, meticulous use of medicinal plants throughout the different
cultures of the world.
We hope to make many of these wonderful plants available in the future.
Cold-Hardy Tropicals
We hope to have more of these interesting species available in the future. This category consists mainly of palms,
bananas, and large-leaved, tropical looking trees.
Many of these species come from harsh climates in otherwise tropical or subtropical zones. For instance, some of the
palms we grow are native to high mountain ranges in otherwise tropical habitats, accounting for their extra cold-hardiness.
Others simply have a natural genetic disposition toward resisting cold. Some are only root hardy perennials, such as
the hardy bananas.
